Welcome to 1050 North Mountain Avenue

Ground was broken on the Theta’s new house by Ms. Beatty, the house mother, on November 19th, 1927. The chapter had 18 members in fall of 1929. November 19, 1928 saw the Beta Delta formal opening of the first chapter house of a women’s fraternity on campus. It cost $40,000 and housed 32 women. There have been two major additions since. The first in 1948 which went North along Mountain Avenue and the the second addition in 1961, added the whole North wing.

The house currently sleeps 56 women with an additional residence for our house mom. Over the past two years, the house has seen major renovations to both the interior spaces and exterior courtyard. Below are pictures showcasing our main living room and live-in study quarters.
